The owners are consistently community oriented; hosting benefit shows regularly and generally hosting great shows, prices are reasonable, the patio is great, and bartenders work hard and don't make you wait for subpar drinks they make them well. Crunchwerks has good grub also.
I was especially grateful last Sunday for the benefit show hosted for Ian Carroll's family to cover costs of his Celebration of Life and related expenses; The Summit facilitated meeting the Go Fund Me goal being met. The show was donation based; all funds went to the family of Ian. 63 or 64 musicians played for him and The Summit was PACKED about 200 people there at any given time throughout the 3 plus hour show. Despite the crowd it was a timely fashion I was served drinks; bathrooms were in good shape too. Unrelated, parking can be difficult as it is in the North Campus area. Overall I have good sentiments about the Summit and I know my late buddy and bonafide guitar teacher and performer for life Ian Carroll always said positive things regarding the new owners and a number of my musician friends play there regularly.

Saw Flicker // Fade last night and it was my first time at Summit Music Hall. The venue was amazing for the show. The staff was super friendly and it was just an amazing vibe! Will definitely be back 🤙🏽

Cool local music venue. Don't let the dark exterior keep you from coming in. I have never seen a show here, but they are also home to a ghost kitchen called Crunchwerks that serves crunch wraps, tacos, ect that you can order and eat at the venue's bar. They have multiple vegan options, including delicious vegan queso dip so it's good for mixed groups. The owner was behind the bar when I was there last and he was very friendly. Highly recommend.
