First time visiting Tampa Bay Downs and loved it!
Great atmosphere, lots of opportunities to see these beautiful thoroughbreds up close, very nice and helpful staff, lots of food and drink spots, and easy to bet on the races.
Note: We didn’t partake in the casino or golf.
It is a very nice layout with lots of options to view the track, shaded/sun, comfortable seats/benches, or just stand and watch.
Getting there and parking is also simple and straight forward.
Me and the boys will be back!

What a great track and day out for a family. We're a family of four and we bought a Groupon off which was a good offer but mainly for the finish line seats. The seats are undercover in the main stand and the betting terminals and food and drinks counter were very close to the seats. The betting on the terminals was very easy and I've not used them before. The main building was really clean and the employees were amazing, all very helpful with advice. The parade circle was a couple of minutes walk and there were enough people (on a Wednesday) to make a good atmosphere. You could also stand on the finish line on the rail if we wanted.. Our kids really enjoyed the day. Food and drink was good value at $4 for a draught beer .And there was plenty of parking close to the entrance.
