My brother was in a play recently, Richard III, and I had to say I greatly enjoyed the venue. It really felt intimate with it's seating, yet still felt big enough to put on, competently, one of Shakespear's works. Not to mention the hallway is ripe with beautiful paintings that one could even buy, if I had the funds to do so. For being an out of the way place I didn't even know existed, I enjoyed it a lot. I hope my brother has a performance here again someday!

Even as someone who frequents the Shops at Grand Avenue, I had absolutely no idea there was a comedy club underneath TJ Maxx. Which is a shame, because it’s a cool spot! We went to a comedy and burlesque show on a Saturday evening to watch a friend who was performing, and we had a great time. We purchased our tickets ahead of time online through the Facebook event page, which was quick and convenient. The tickets were stored in the Eventbrite app, so they were easy to access.
The seating is nice; it didn’t seem like there was a bad seat in the house view-wise. The stage is spacious, but the venue still feels cozy and intimate. The performers that evening were all great, and there was a bar with drinks available – it seemed like mixed drinks and bottled beers for the most part, but something for everyone. The drinks were all well-priced and the service was friendly. The tickets were inexpensive and everyone in our group enjoyed the experience. I would definitely come back to this venue for another show and would recommend checking it out! Based on the Facebook page and events, it looks like they frequently host shows on the weekends.

The Best! My son was in a play there in May. Everyone involved is so very talented and worked so well together to welcome him onto the team, as it was his first real play. Jake and his team are the best!!!
