    We had the absolute pleasure of hosting our wedding at The Van Dusen Mansion, and it was truly a dream come true. From the moment we toured the venue, we knew it was the perfect place for us. The mansion is absolutely stunning, and the team’s professionalism made the planning process smooth and enjoyable. After placing our deposit, we received a clear and detailed planning timeline, which the team stuck to from beginning to end. Monica, the venue director, was incredibly responsive and genuinely excited to work with us. We were planning a hybrid cultural wedding, which can sometimes be daunting for vendors, but Monica embraced it wholeheartedly and made us feel supported every step of the way. We also appreciated the flexibility of being able to tour the venue multiple times without any pushback. By the time our wedding day arrived, it truly felt like we were inviting guests into our own home.
    One thing to note: the venue requires that the get-ready rooms be cleaned out before the ceremony begins. This was a bit inconvenient as things got hectic, and we recommend couples assign someone specifically to manage that, as we did lose track of a few personal items after the event. The only other downside is that you're required to use their exclusive catering partner, Mintahoe (we've left a separate review for them).
    Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our experience. The Van Dusen Mansion is a stunning venue with a fantastic team, and we’re so grateful to have celebrated our special day there!

    The Van Dusen is a beautiful venue! There were many places to take pictures, getting to host in all 3 spaces was really nice so guests could see inside the mansion, we received many comments on how beautiful the venue was. The staff kept our day running smoothly and on schedule. I hope to attend an event there in the future to be able to go back and relive the day!
