The war memorials are beautiful and well done. It is worth the time to walk through and look closely at all of the plaques, buildings and statues. The architect is breathtaking. It was a very educational experience. Highly recommend this memorial complex. Also close adjacent to the State Capitol building., which is also worth seeing.

I’m in awe of the people who have paid the ultimate price and sacrificed their lives for this country and state. The granite and marble are gorgeous and all inspiring. The lower courtyard was being used for feeding the hungry and providing haircuts. Some very wonderful folks were being hands and feet today. Thank you to the people who made this memorial possible for me a simple traveler to pay respect to all who it represents.

This is one of my favorite venues ever. I've only been here twice. Once for 3 Doors Down and recently for Alter Bridge. There is not a bad seat on the balcony in my opinion. Same goes for the general admission on the floor. It's small, but you can see perfectly from anywhere.
