I love this neighborhood, and as a younger female, I feel completely safe taking my pup out at night and walking in the neighborhood. Just like anywhere else, you have to pay attention to your surroundings.
The unit I chose in the Lofts building is beautiful, and because the garage is underneath my building, it's super easy access to come and go. The building I moved from had a separate parking garage, and it would take me 6-7 minutes to get from my apt to the car, having to walk down long hallways and switch elevators. This is the same elevator that takes you directly from the parking garage to your floor. Super easy. 8 months in and I'm loving it here so far!

I’ve lived at Union Hill for 2 years. The area is nice and walkable, and there is an active community. Units are reasonably maintained and maintenance is responsive, often working on issues within a day. the office staff are also always responsive and offer ample amenities, as well as regular events for residents.
There is a well equipped gym available to residents. Sadly it was downsized during renovations a year ago and isn’t as accommodating after the work, but it is still well maintained and the largest in the area. Overall my experience has been positive!

This place was decent my first 6 months here. The second they went under new management (the guy before was great) they towed my car out of a spot that I pay $65 a month for, and refused to work with me after the fact. The reason I got towed is that their parking lines are faded and painted over each other so the lines are tough to see (picture included in the review for reference), and they have been making money off of towing people for THEIR MISTAKE. They claim that you are double parked, but there is simply no way to avoid that as that is how the lines are designed. I paid $400 to get my car back and they refuse to refund me or work with me on anything regarding it being towed, and now I am scared to park at my own apartment out of fear of being towed for no reason again. They also “renovated” their apartments but did not do a great job as there are gaps in the flooring and the paint chips extremely easily. The walls are super thin as well, so you can hear everything your upstairs neighbors are doing. It is unfortunate because I used to love it here, but now I am telling everybody to stay away.
