Having stayed at this hotel on many previous occasions, I can’t say I would recommend it any longer. The room was full of mosquitoes. The bar and the restaurant were closed to two days that we were there forcing us to just walk across the street to a much better option, the Plaza Parguera hotel

I have been staying here since I was a little girl. Not much have changed and that’s the problem.
Pros: service- everyone is so nice and welcoming
Views- even though you can’t get in the water, the views and sunsets are spectacular
Pool- is very big and is easy to get in and out for people that may have a little of mobility issues.
Restaurant- food and service are very good

    Cons:
Rooms: are relatively small and very outdated.
Mattress was the most uncomfortable I have slept.
    There is no mini fridge.
Only one outlet in the entire room.
The shower is very slippery, it should have a warning right there.
There is no entertainment other than the pool.

Our experience at this property was deeply disappointing due to the lack of professionalism and hospitality from the staff. The young woman at the front desk, in particular, was notably unwelcoming. Upon our arrival on Thursday, we were surprised to find that amenities—including the restaurant and pool—were closed, giving the property an almost deserted atmosphere. We later learned that these amenities are only available on weekends, yet no one had communicated this before our arrival.

When we asked to view the room before completing payment, the front desk attendant refused, insisting that full payment was required first. We found this policy unreasonable, and her dismissive attitude only made matters worse. She claimed that every hotel she had worked for operated this way, which frankly was laughable and strained her credibility.

Once in the room, we requested additional pillows to supplement the very thin ones provided, but were told that none were available. Given that the property was nearly empty during our stay, the staff could have grabbed some from another unoccupied room, yet no effort was made to accommodate our request.

The final straw came on Friday evening when we briefly sat in the closed restaurant while waiting for my husband to park the car. Despite the space being empty, the same front desk employee promptly told us to leave because the restaurant was cleaned and closed. At that point, our frustration had reached its limit. We decided to cut our stay short, forfeiting our final night just to leave the unpleasant experience behind.

Overall, what could have been a pleasant stay was completely undermined by poor communication, lack of hospitality, and an unfriendly attitude that made us feel more like an inconvenience than a guest.
