Really fantastic. We just happened upon this place while walking by during the day, and decided to get tickets for dinner and show that evening. (The reservation staff has sufficient English to make this easy for American visitors.)
The dumpling dinner had an amazing variety of offerings; everyone was delighted. The show was stunning; no mid-class dinner theater offering at all; this is a high-quality professional live song and dance show, with live orchestra. The lights and staging were super high-quality.

Watching the performance at the Tang Dynasty Theatre was like stepping into a piece of living history. The highlight of the evening was an exquisite dance performance featuring Empress Wu Zetian, capturing the elegance and grandeur of the Tang Dynasty. The performers were captivating, dressed in vibrant, intricate costumes that seemed to shimmer under the stage lights. Every move was graceful, evoking the poise and power of Empress Wu Zetian, one of China’s most iconic rulers.
Adding to the experience was the dumpling buffet served throughout the evening. Each bite was delicious, with a variety of flavors that complemented the theatrical atmosphere perfectly. It was a unique experience, blending rich cultural heritage with culinary delights, and a must for anyone visiting who wants a taste of Tang Dynasty opulence.

The food is decent, some great dumplings, some not so great, but you really come here for the performance. The show was great, though the live orchestra was not used for every song. The price is a tad expensive, there's definitely a "tourist tax" here.
