Had a quick 12-hour stay at Riviera Mansion Hotel and I’m impressed!
The bathroom was clean and well-maintained, and the room felt spacious compared to many newer hotels. I also appreciated that there were plenty of outlet sockets—super convenient.
Downside: They don’t provide slippers, so you’ll need to bring your own or buy from them for ₱100.
BTW: Don’t expect a Manila Bay view. The hotels in this area are close together, so the most you’ll see is the road along Mabini in Malate.
Overall, I’d definitely choose to stay here again if I need a place to spend the night in Manila.

I stayed at this hotel for the first time in August of this year. All the staff were friendly, and the food at the restaurant on the first floor was high quality and delicious. There's also a Robinson's nearby, so it's convenient for shopping and dining, and it's also a great place for nightlife. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity.

Celebrating New Year’s Eve '25 at a charming 3-star Riviera mansion hotel in Ermita, Manila has been an experience filled with mixed feelings! The hotel may have an old exterior, but we were pleasantly surprised by the clean and modern rooms. Our kids had a blast enjoying the bubble bath kit provided—it turned our bathroom into a mini-spa adventure! The bathtub was definitely a highlight for them. Plus, having a water heater that works perfectly was such a relief during the chilly nights.
On the flip side, we faced some challenges with the Wi-Fi not functioning in our room, which made it difficult to share our joyous moments online. Additionally, while I appreciate musical variety, the lobby's playlist of rap and R&B felt out of place for such an atmosphere; it would have been nice to enjoy some soft jazz or soothing tunes instead to set a more relaxing vibe. Overall, this place has its quirks but created sweet memories as we welcomed the new year together as a family!
