What a find hidden between buildings in the Bank area. Stunning interiors (as seen in Netflix The Diplomat etc). Lovely little tour for £5 with coffee in real china for a quid. Loved it a lot!

This must be the finest and most beautifully decorated of all the guild halls in London.

The main marble staircase contains Egyptian style bronzes and marble busts of Queen Victoria and two of her uncles.

The Court room is now home to the famous Jonathan Yeo portrait of King Charles III, the first official portrait of his reign. This painting has to be seen in the flesh to understand its magnificence in full. This room is already filled with other beautiful artworks and furniture, as well as gilded ceiling, and busts of Queen Elizabeth II and the then Prince Charles.

The Dining Room contains two stunning tapestries and an exceptional portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.

The ante room to the main Livery Hall contains more tapestries and full length portraits of the Duke of Wellington and Lord Nelson. Great British heroes of the Napoleonic Wars.

Finally, and most spectacularly of all is the main Livery Hall.

Yet more gilded painter ceilings, a silver cabinet and two statues, however the portraits of British Monarchs starting with William III to Edward VII are the main attractions here, as the portraits feel incredibly fresh and clean.

Highly decorated Hall and staircase. High ceilings, chandeliers. Located in the City of London. Well known for formal banquets, parties or exhibitions etc. Went to a Christmas Fare. Beautiful gifts. The Hall is beautifully decorated .
