I had a fantastic stay at the Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel. The location could not be better—right in the heart of the city, within walking distance to the river, Millennium Park, shopping, and plenty of great restaurants. The hotel itself feels modern and stylish, with a fresh, upscale vibe from the moment you walk in.

Everything was spotless, and the attention to detail in cleanliness really stood out. My room was spacious, comfortable, and designed with a sleek, contemporary touch that made it feel both inviting and luxurious.

Staff were professional and attentive, making the whole experience seamless. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and welcoming.

Overall, this is a perfect choice if you’re looking for a clean, modern, and centrally located hotel in Chicago. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip!

We had an amazing time at the Marriott Renaissance Downtown. The bars and common areas are fantastic — great atmosphere and service throughout the hotel. The only downside is that the rooms could use a bit of updating, as they still have the traditional shower-over-tub setup. Overall, a great stay and would definitely return!

My husband and I have been traveling to Chicago often to visit family, and for the last five years we always stayed at The Ritz-Carlton. But after reading all the wonderful reviews about the Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel, we decided to give it a try this past May—and we’ve already returned three times this year!

From the very first moment we pulled up, the valet team greeted us warmly and set the tone for our stay. Every staff member we encountered was professional, welcoming, and eager to help with any questions or requests. What truly stood out were the incredible front desk staff—TJ, Judy, and Manal. Each of them went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Manal, especially, impressed us with her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. She always made us feel valued and at home.

The hotel itself is in a fantastic location, close to so many of Chicago’s best attractions, but it’s really the people here that make it special. After experiencing the level of service and care from the team, especially TJ, Judy, and Manal, we’ve decided this is the only place we’ll stay whenever we return to Chicago.
