We loved stepping into this historic movie palace and catching the latest blockbuster on its gorgeous vintage screen. The mix of classic architecture and modern sound made the film feel extra immersivewho knew a 1930s theater could feel so contemporary? The whole experience was a perfect blend of nostalgia and comfort!

Every time I come here, I'm impressed with what went in to make this happen, but even more impressed with the effort in what it took to restore it to a condition that makes it enjoyable for all of us! This building is full of history, and I'm so glad we have the LA Conservancy that's dedicated to restoring this places! The "Last Remaining Seats" events every June are a WONDERFUL way to enjoy great movies in the setting they were originally meant to be enjoyed. We forget when the major movie chains carry a bunch of movies all at once, these multiplexes are actually a new thing. Single-screen theaters have their way of doing things, and it's great to be able to enjoy classic movies in a classic theater like this.

I had never been to this venue before but I must say… it was so gorgeous inside it was actually breathtaking. There is so much detail in every inch of this theater! The way the Haunt used lighting did justice in making it beautiful inside. There is a parking structure around the block and down the street if you are attending an event here.
