Pretty amazing place. Driven by here many times on work trips out here and wanted to go. Finally made it happen. The place is massive – quite a bit bigger than I tthought it would be. Parking was easy and plentiful. Short tram ride from parking to the complex, and you are rocking and rolling. Very popular place. Went at around noon on a Thursday late September, and there were plenty of people. Imagine weekends, summer, and holidays quite crowded. I thought the museums were solid enough and the architecture was impressive, but the star of the show for me were the grounds. Amazing trees and flowers abounded. And the view of LA would have been impressive if it hadnt been so smoggy and a bit rainy. Really remarkable place, especially if you like naked paintings and sculptures (those Greeks and Romans and Europeans were free-swinging and uninhibited – might need to shuffle the kids along at various spots). Went to Getty Villa as well and liked that even more.

What an amazing visit! The architecture and stone masonry were absolutely breathtaking. The exhibition was so informative—I may never make it to Greece or Italy, but being surrounded by all the incredible artwork and sculptures truly made me feel like I was there. The gardens were stunning and added such a peaceful touch to the experience. A beautiful place that brings history to life!

I have many long time favorites to visit in LA. But this place has now bar far hands down moved into the #1 spot to visit for all my art fans. There is a reason it is #1 in the world. They have made it an unbelievable experience from the time you get there to the time you leave. Amazing views into downtown Amazing views into West Hollywood. Reasonable on all fronts. Go early and make it a day trip. Reservations are highly advised. Google the Getty and it should be easy to find. Good walking shoes a must…
