We recently hosted our wedding and could not be happier that we chose to do so at the Hill Center. Throughout the entire process, the staff (and Liz, the Events Manager, in particular) was wonderful to work with – from envisioning how best to use each of their spaces, to welcoming other vendors on walk throughs and pre-event coordination, to ultimately pulling off our dream day, despite some surprises from mother nature. The staff was flexible and upbeat under some trying weather conditions in the morning, and knowing having the ceremony outside was a priority for us, somehow made it work—and work beautifully—despite a limited prep window to do so. The space was great and really helped us feel like we were part of the neighborhood fabric, just as we had hoped. Couldn’t recommend Liz, her team, and the Hill Center more!

Liz Leger is THE BEST!! We couldn’t have asked for a better Venue & Special Events Manager. She made our large wedding a huge success!!! Her vision, hard work, attention to detail is hard to find at most places but Liz exceed all expectations from beginning, middle, end and afterwards!

The Hill Center is a staple of Capitol Hill neighborhood and community. It’s a space available for many activities, both for children and adults, including ballet, summer camps, art. The staff is friendly and welcoming, facilities are well-maintained. If you are ever looking for space for your event or activity, I highly recommend you check out the Hill center.
