If you haven’t been to The Getaway in St. Pete, you are seriously missing out! This place is our absolute FAVORITE hangout!! The vibe is pure paradise!! Waterfront views, tropical drinks, amazing food, and even the chance to see dolphins and manatees while you relax. It doesn’t get any better than this! 🌴🍹🐬
And just when we thought it couldn’t get better, they’ve added some awesome new upgrades that make the whole experience next-level. The Getaway keeps stepping it up, and it shows!
But what truly makes it special is Aaron. He is hands down the BEST server we’ve ever had anywhere!! Every time we come in, he treats us like family!! He’s fun, attentive, and always one step ahead, whether it’s keeping the drinks flowing, suggesting the best bites, or just bringing the good vibes that make us want to stay for hours. He makes every visit unforgettable!

We had to wait at least 30 minutes to be seated, however the bar area was open to sit down and order drinks as we waited. The atmosphere invites tranquility and a sense of being amongst a natural Caribbean setting. The only thing missing were the hammocks. The food is top notch. A definite place to stop if in the area.

We had such a great time at The Getaway! The location alone makes it worth the visit. It had beautiful views and such a relaxing vibe. But what really made our experience stand out was our server. She was so kind, respectful, and just seemed to know what we needed before we even had to ask… refills, napkins, extra plates, you name it. She was great with our little one too, and made us all feel really comfortable and taken care of.
The craziest part? We found out it was her first day, and we never would’ve guessed! She handled everything like a total pro. Big thanks to Kat (and Eli) for making our visit such a good one. We’ll definitely be back!
