A Golden Night for Our Queen 👑🎉💖
We celebrated our mother’s 60th birthday at the beautiful Astoria Regency Poolside in Pasonanca — and it was a night to remember! Surrounded by family, friends, and loved ones, we gathered to honor the woman who means the world to us.

The ambiance was elegant, the place was lovely, and every moment felt special. Although service was a bit slow (only one waiter on duty!), we understood — but we hope the management adds more staff for events like this. After all, we came not just to eat, but to celebrate a milestone.

Despite the hiccups, we enjoyed every second — laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. Of course, we took our family photos to cherish this beautiful night forever.

I am extremely disappointed with my stay at Astoria Regency, Pasonanca, Zamboanga City. Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted with very poor sanitation — a huge poop was left unflushed in the water closet, and both the bidet and shower were not working properly. This already showed me that the room had not been cleaned or inspected before I checked in.

To make matters worse, the cockroach infestation was unbearable. Cockroaches were literally everywhere, and I was even bitten on different parts of my body — the most disturbing bite being at the back of my ear while I was sleeping. This made me feel unsafe, disgusted, and extremely uncomfortable throughout my stay.

The problems didn’t stop there. The refrigerator at the back was leaking, leaving the floor wet and slippery, which posed another hazard. On top of that, the cabinets do not close properly, giving the room a neglected and broken-down feel. These are very basic maintenance issues that should have been fixed long before any guest was allowed to stay.

For a place that carries the Astoria name, this was far below acceptable standards. Cleanliness, sanitation, and functionality of basic amenities should always come first in hospitality. Unfortunately, what I experienced was the exact opposite — unsafe, unsanitary, and very disappointing. I sincerely hope the management takes these issues seriously and acts quickly to improve, because no guest should ever have to go through what I experienced here.
