This appears to me to be the nicest hotel in the city. I was really impressed with how helpful and nice the staff are! The rooms are great, the breakfast buffet is fantastic, the pool is nice too. I didn’t get a chance to try the spa services but the prices were really good. It was one of the only times I had a quiet room throughout the night (no roosters, no revving, no dogs barking) while in the Philippines.

My family and I went to Puerto Princesa to celebrate the birthdays of my husband and our son. We stayed at Best Western Plus The Ivywall Hotel for four days and we had the best time.
I got the chance to stay here in 2016, and they preserved the beautiful modern Filipino design of their furnishings and decor. The rattan pieces, capiz accents, and wood parquet details, along with the marble-tiled floors, created a chic yet unintimidating atmosphere, as they primarily used local materials to enhance the hotel lobby.
The staff's traditional mabuhay gesture made us feel at home, and our favorite was lifeguard Kuya Orly, who befriended Akira and taught him some proper swimming techniques.
The daily breakfast buffet at Anibong Restaurant was great and the overall ambiance was homey.
Will definitely stay here again.

Lovely stay at Best Western Ivywall! Great and convenient location—just minutes from the airport and right along Rizal Ave.
Everyone—from the receptionists and housekeeping team to the restaurant crew and security—was warm and genuinely accommodating, always making sure we felt looked after. Their Manager, Diane, was especially endearing and attentive throughout our stay.
Rooms are comfortable with excellent amenities and the breakfast spread and food options were a pleasant surprise. Overall, a smooth, welcoming experience—we’d definitely come back!
