I had a very pleasant stay at Shangri-La Guangzhou. The service was professional, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Although the hotel is older with classic-style interiors, everything is very well maintained and spotlessly clean.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable. A big plus is the convenient metro line behind the hotel, which goes directly to Canton Tower, one of Guangzhou’s most famous attractions. The line has only 8 stops, the fare is very affordable (around 2 RMB), and payment can be made easily via WePay.
The hotel restaurants offer a good variety of quality food. A reliable and comfortable choice for both business and leisure stays.

Very near to expo , Great breakfast , well done facilities. They charged 1000rmb / night other than room price as advance which is.weird. they charged my card almost triple of room price , they said , they will return money but still waiting after 5 days
