A great hotel to stay in Dalian, nice views of the harbour, sea and excellent location with walking distance from ‘East Montage’ – the not an exact replica of Venice, but its developer used the classical European city as its blueprint. Also, it’s only half and hour from the airport.
The hotel was immaculate. With a very decent sized room and bathroom. The toilet has its own door within the bathroom. And the bathroom had a retractable screen to expose the bedroom or not. I loved how they had universal power sockets and usb charging points in the room – bonus point for that.
Be warned there is no ATM in the hotel. So if you are thinking to draw out foreign money, you will struggle as the banks in the area did not work with our UK banks. And had to drive to Bank of China in order to take out money. The Hotel does however exchange currencies in cash form.

Great location, excellent service and awesome food. Hilton, Dalian has high standards on almost everything except on one thing in which they may not have much control, that is internet connectivity. It was very bad when available and dropped often. The "Great Firewall of China" is really an impediment for international business travelers.

It's a nice hotel in a good location, very close to the sea and promenade walking. Good service, nice accessories in the room however, not a very big room. The breakfast was very complex, including something for Europeans. In total it's a 4.5 star hotel.
