Wonderful iconic hotel with great and helpful staff who genuinely cannot do enough for you. Your allocated staff members go out of their way to turn your stay into an experience. Our butler Cathy was fantastic and looked after our needs from providing in room Singapore Slings to running a relaxing bath for my partner.
However, Vicki was exceptional. From the moment we arrived to waving us off, she could not do enough. This was on top of probably dealing with another 15 customers as well. She was full of advice and idea's, always making us feel special. Subsequently, it did not surprise us to learn that she was named amongst the best receptionists in Singapore after collecting just 18 months of experience. She must be the best by now.
The iconic nature of this hotel makes it one of the best in the world.
It's staff and their attention to detail and service will keep this hotel as one of the best in the world.

Our stay at Raffles Singapore was exceptional, just as one would expect from Raffles. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. Check-in was done directly in the suite, with everything explained in detail and in a very pleasant manner. Our butler was refreshingly friendly and genuinely warm, and overall every member of staff was extremely courteous and fully dedicated to making our stay perfect – which they truly succeeded in doing.
The suite was elegantly furnished, very quiet, and offered a high level of comfort. The air conditioning worked perfectly without any draft. Breakfast was very generous, with an excellent selection to suit every taste.
Relaxing at the rooftop pool was a real highlight. The service there was attentive yet discreet, allowing for a wonderfully calm and enjoyable atmosphere. We also had a fantastic dinner at the hotel’s own restaurant Yi, which was a memorable experience.
All in all, it was a truly wonderful stay, and we would highly recommend Raffles Singapore.

Raffles Singapore was much hyped, but did not disappoint. The rooms are huge, with every modern convenience but still retaining the charm and character of the old times. The ceiling fans are great (as a woman "of a certain age" who is always warm!), the bathrooms modern and wonderful, with separate shower and tub, the bed very comfortable, etc. The butlers are wonderful! Every wish granted, from drawing a bath to ordering lunch in our rooms, to surprising us with extra special gifts for out special anniversary. It is truly old-world charm with new world sensibility. The entire staff is gracious and helpful.
