Really special place to visit on an open day. It wasn’t very touristy, but for sure some other’s there for the same reason as you. You can visit the main hall and garden, there’s also a cool looking restaurant to visit too but I didn’t go in there for anything more than a peek. Easily accessible via the train, surrounding countryside is glorious.

.. just went here to have lunch. The food in their restaurant, The Grill, was really good. Most areas were closed, but the whole architecture is beautiful and contemporary.

This is a world class conference and exhibition venue, big enough to grab global attention by hosting major international events. The rooms come in all shapes and sizes, catering for a wide range of needs, with catering capable of matching the high venue capacity for delegates with some good quality Japanese fare. This outlandish and daring architectural landmark is nestled in a hilly and serene natural setting.
