I love Savory House Kitchen! I've had Chef Derek's food at catering events, I've taken his cooking classes, and now his to-go menu! It has all been delicious and mouth watering! The portions on his to-go menu are huge and well worth every penny! He uses all fresh ingredients and puts his heart and soul into all of his cooking.

Savory House Kitchen was so easy to work with for our wedding in Charlotte. Chef Derek was excited to cater a smaller wedding and suggested a Jamaican-style menu that our guests loved. For real, people raved about how flavorful the cabbage was, which you don't see often. The planning process was super-organized and the prices were right. We visited their tasting room in Denver where Ms. Tammy and Chef Derek made sure we were happy with our food options. The catering and bar staff that worked our wedding were punctual and super helpful. We didn't have to lift a finger to direct them, they just did a great job and made sure we and our guests had everything we needed. It made a potentially stressful day easy.

Wow! Let me just say, this is probably the best place we have eaten at in a very long time! A hidden gem but you MUST try this place!! From start to finish Savory hits on every aspect of your experience. On Monday evening we stopped in and just decided to check out their menu- well we ended up getting way more than we expected. We were greeted by Chef Derek himself who explained the entire menu and how they operate. We ended up trying a few different items on the menu and were blown away!! He wasn’t lying when he told us there wasn’t anything on there we wouldn’t like. We got the Smash Burger, App sampler, and the Honey Siracha bowl, all of which were INCREDIBLE!! Chef Derek and his crew are professional and take pride in truly making your experience worthwhile. More than anything we just appreciated the hard work and kindness that he showed us for our first visit. He truly cares about his craft and We are SO looking forward to going back!!
