Was visiting from out of town and came for Ash Wednesday service… what a lovely place old history and amazing people who run it.. very welcoming helpful and warm.. the crowd was big but they made everyone feel welcomed and loved.. the service was amazing and easy to understand.. if you are looking for a place to worship or come check out for the beautiful architecture then this is a must visit place.. I highly recommended it..

I'm going through a really tough time in life where I'm on the streets sleeping in my car. This church came to Roof Above, picked up maybe 20 men for a night off the streets with cooked dinner and breakfast, showers and a movie. I was sad that I was in this position but grateful for such kindness and caring mercies. Great job St. Peters Catholic Church. The staff that night represented the Church Well.

Historic Catholic Church in the heart of downtown Charlotte.
The church is open, despite CoVid, with every other pew open and social distancing in effect.
The interior is beautiful, with classic stained-glass windows, wooden pews and ornate statues.
There is a lower level which serves as a "cry-room" or for overflow attendance.
