    I visited The Cellar at Duckworth’s on a Thursday night with a friend for a special farewell dinner before she left Charlotte for the new year. Although we had a bit of a wait due to a slow kitchen, the manager made sure we were comfortable by bringing our drinks promptly. After about 15-20 minutes, our server arrived and took our order.

    We enjoyed delicious dishes including mac and cheese, Brussels sprouts, and risotto, all of which were fantastic. For the main course, we both had the short ribs with cheddar grits and a vegetable medley that included roasted asparagus. Every bite was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious!

    For dessert, we tried the berry wontons, and they were equally amazing, adding a perfect sweet ending to the meal.

    The ambiance was also lovely, with warm amber lighting, candles on the tables, and a cozy, rustic feel with exposed brick and ceilings. Overall, the meal was amazing, and despite the slight delay in service, everything else was top-notch.

    This was our first time visiting the Queen City, and we searched for our New Year’s Eve dinner spot via TikTok. The Cellar at Duckworth's kept coming up with great reviews—and they were absolutely right.

    Everything about this experience was perfect. The food was incredible, the drinks were delicious, and the atmosphere had the best speakeasy vibes. Our server (who looked like Sergeant James Doakes from Dexter 😄) was amazing—super friendly and incredibly knowledgeable, taking the time to explain everything we had questions about.

    This was the perfect spot for a New Year’s Eve dinner, and we would absolutely come back. Highly recommend!

    I took my girlfriend to the Cellar at Duckworth's for her birthday. This was our first time here, and we were very impressed. Our server, Stephanie was fantastic, and made our dinning experience remarkable. We had a filet mignon and NY strip that was so delicious with a side of brussels. We loved this restaurant and look forward to coming back.
