This place is fantastic! I recently became interested in sailing and let's say that the desire to be on the water has not let up but increased. MCSC was super accommodating when I just did a walk in and they let me check the place out and ask a ton of stupid questions without even a flinch. I just took their 10.1 class which was tailored to getting a newbie ready to sail very rapidly. The day after class ended, I was able to have a great day on a J24 with the excellent group that is here. I am totally hooked and would recommend MCSC to everyone!

MCSC is a welcoming and safe space to learn the art of sailing. My family and I discovered it during Doors Open Milwaukee in 2021, and we've been members ever since!
As a queer person, my experiences at the Sailing Center have been outstanding. From the single-stall gender neutral bathroom, to a consistent adherence to my preferred name and pronouns, MCSC has an overall culture of acceptance. Every member of the staff promotes a blend of individuality and teamwork, and are constantly working to improve the atmosphere further.

We are so happy we had our outdoor wedding ceremony and indoor reception at the center! It is a wonderful organization with a great mission. The center was a perfect spot for our small do-it-yourself wedding. The catering company provided tables and chairs for the ceremony and reception. The wedding photos are gorgeous and were captured by Reflections by Robyn Photography from Galena, IL. If you're planning a small wedding in Milwaukee, choose the center!
