Beautiful with engaging exhibits and glass stairs. It's free and the people are very friendly. There is paid parking nearby and the area is pretty walkable, the sidewalk is clear and salted. The bathrooms were clean and the areas seem wheelchair accessible with ramps and a elevator.

We had our wedding at MMoCA in June 2025 and we would choose it again 100 times over. We wanted something simple, modern, and outdoors — and the rooftop sculpture garden was exactly that. It’s one of the only true rooftop venues in Madison, and we couldn’t believe we hadn’t looked there sooner. We were also amazed at how open their calendar was, which gave us the flexibility to pick a date we truly wanted.

Marie was incredible to work with throughout the year of planning — responsive, patient, and extremely helpful with vendor coordination, logistics, rehearsals, and weather planning. We toured multiple times (sometimes just to ask new questions that came up!) and always felt supported.

Jasmine was our day-of point person and she was fantastic — calm, organized, and quietly making everything run smoothly behind the scenes. The staff was professional and accommodating, and the entire evening felt seamless. It was more beautiful than we ever imagined. If you’re considering a modern rooftop wedding in Madison, MMoCA is truly a gem.

Beautiful museum with a lot of thought provoking art. Free admission with a parking garage nearby. We left a donation. There are stairs, so be aware.
