This beloved neighborhood community institution and multigenerational education and recreation venue offers a variety of amenities, including a walking track, basketball courts, weight room, pool, and rooms dedicated to educational pursuits such as music and cooking classes. City government public notices are posted outside the entrance.

I needed a place for cardio workouts during the summer months as the triple digit temps were too much to handle as a runner. The Henderson Multi generational Center fills that void with their treadmills and other cardio machines. For a little over ten bucks a month, you can't beat the quality of equipment available or the indoor track. BTW I was told that the indoor track is free to use for anyone over 55 yoa but the equipment room will require a membership card. Also available are outdoor and indoor pools. Oh yea, there is also an indoor rock climbing wall. We love this place for the price and all the amenities you get to include access to any of the City of Henderson facilities with your membership card. No long-term commitments either as you can go month to month if you want. Great options to stay in rhythm for my fall running events.
