We had a family lunch at Rasika on Christmas Eve and it exceeded all expectations. Having tried many restaurants in the DMV area and across the East Coast, this is by far, our favorite Indian restaurant. Gerardus took very good care of us and that elevated our dining experience.
The highlights of the day was the Tawa Baingan, Dal Makhani (one of the best dal makhani we have ever had), Chicken Green Masala, the garlic and the truffle oil naan, and the warm black rice pudding. We loved how every dish was innovative and unique from typical Indian dishes served in various restaurants in the same price range.
Would definitely love to come back again!

Very refined Indian food. Equally refined ambiance. A combination that earned then a Michelin recommendation and a most sought after reservation. We had Palak Chaat (a must-order), Sweet Potato Samosa, Truffle Seekh Kebab. For the mains we had Saiji Lamb Shank (best dish and best value), Duck Vindaloo, Halibut Goan Curry, Goat Ahuna. Go ahead and order extra rice or roti or nan as the sauces are heavenly.
