I just attended my first show, "Puppet Séance" at Lost Nation and was amazed to discover what I had failed to appreciate. This space is a beautiful gem, hidden away on the 2nd floor of the Montpelier City Hall. Lost Nation Theater, a resident professional company has been located in this historic building since 1989. The seating is excellent and the foyer is a beautiful lounge area. I will become a regular from now on. BTW, the show was excellent.

Saw "The Drowsy Chaperone" on 7/19/2025. It was amazing. So many wonderful performances topped off by a Standing Ovation from the crowd!

For great performances go to see their current play. It is Shakespeare's Wife. It is a tour de force solo performance. How one person can create a new environment many times during an hour and a half is amazing. Unfortunately there was an emergency and the theater had to be evacuated. So we didn't see the last few minutes.
