I was in town and just happened to have a little time on Sunday during their window where they were open for tours. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to finish my tour, but I really enjoyed it. I hope to come back some time. The people working the tours were very friendly and were very knowledgeable. The house is still in wonderful condition and they have done a great job of preserving the history. I look forward to the park being built across the street being finished. This house is absolutely worth a visit if you like history and gothic-style houses.

I absolutely loved touring this place. If you love historic homes and beautiful antique furniture, this tour is perfect for you. I was highly impressed with the condition of everything in this house. Our tour guide Alan was very knowledgeable and we learned alot about the house. If I'm ever in Mansfield again this is one place I will be stopping by.

We love Oak Hill Cottage and are grateful to the generations of citizens who have worked to restore and keep it for future use and enjoyment. Our son and daughter had an excellent time at the Childrens Open House! Thank you Richland County Historical Society!!!
