Beautiful walkway with spectacular views of our gorgeous Hudson Valley. I especially enjoy it during autumn with all the colors on display. It is dog friendly but not all dogs are comfortable walking over the bridge. Although the trails at either side of the walkway are green, the walkway is concrete so although you'll love the walk, your pup might be more interested in what's at either end.🙂

Breathtaking!! It is incredible to see this bridge take on a new chapter in it's life! If you want a good walk, scenic views and get a better understanding of its history, I highly recommend that you walk this bridge. It's full of life everyday, from routine walkers and runners, to tourists looking for the perfect photo to families learning about the area together!

Fantastic spot, multiple options for walking to change distance – over and back on walkway, loop through Poughkeepsie, other parts of rail trail. Views were spectacular, bathrooms at each end plus vendors with snacks and drinks. Would highly recommend for anyone passing by.
