This beautiful place has so much character. The service was unmatched. The tour was informational and lovely. We had fresh baked cookies delivered to our door with a little note and the weather forecast. The room was perfect and very comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. I'm in love with these old places!

While visiting Springfield, IL, I had the pleasure of staying at the Inn at 835, a beautifully restored 1906 luxury apartment building turned bed-and-breakfast. My suite, The Orchard, featured two bedrooms, a cozy living room, a private balcony, and a luxurious jetted tub. Every detail was thoughtfully decorated to reflect the elegance and charm of the early 20th century, making the space feel like a step back in time.

Each morning began with a wonderful breakfast, which changed daily and included fresh coffee and juice. In the evenings, a special touch awaited—freshly baked cookies placed outside the door at 8:30 p.m., a small gesture that made the stay feel extra warm and welcoming.

The property blends historic charm with modern comfort, offering not only spacious accommodations but also a sense of peaceful retreat. The location is convenient to Springfield’s historic attractions, making it an excellent choice for both relaxation and sightseeing.

I rate my experience a 10 out of 10 and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and memorable place to stay in Springfield.
