I spent 2 hours at Barren Ridge Winery and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The scenery surrounding the winery is beautiful, earning a 4 out of 5 stars. The views are stunning and add to the overall ambiance.

The facilities are cozy and intimate, scoring 4.7 out of 5. The winery's compact size makes it easy to navigate and find a quiet spot, and the small food selection is a nice touch.

The service was exceptional, with bartender Sarah providing top-notch service with a great attitude and friendly demeanor. I give the service a 5 out of 5 for that reason however all the others servers were also friendly too.

The live music was fantastic, and the venue was packed, which speaks to its popularity. I was impressed by the wine selection & taste, which also earns a 5 out of 5.

Overall, I'd give Barren Ridge Winery a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. The combination of beautiful views, great drinks, and live music (when I went) makes it a must-visit destination. The intimate atmosphere and excellent service only add to its appeal. I highly recommend stopping by and experiencing it for yourself.

If you enjoy wine and are in the area, you should check out this vineyard and winery in the Shenandoah Valley. They have some great wine with amazing views. The employees were super friendly and outgoing. We also had an opportunity to speak at length with the owners which was super cool. We enjoyed a bottle of wine at the vineyard and bought several bottles to go (you receive a discount if you purchase three of more bottles). If you visit, check their website. They have several events that are open to the public. They are also a Harvest Hosts location. If in the area, we would definitely visit again.

Beautiful winery. The service was wonderful. The ladies behind the bar were so sweet. We all loved the Red Barren. The Cab Franc was really good too. Didn’t have the Riesling this trip, but I remember it being very good. Definitely recommend.
