Very good and deceptively large. It’s a relatively small collection but I could have easily spent all day in there because of how many specimens there are neatly packed together. The taxidermy and skeletons are all impressive and well put-together and everything felt very tidy and well up to date. There are plenty of spots to sit, including a cozy Victorian study. Definitely a must, especially if you’re interested in birds and taxidermy.

This is a FREE museum in Brighton. If you can make a donation, then it Will help with the costs of running the building.
What an interesting place. Things for the adults to have a read up on, activities for the kids to get involved with. Loads of exhibits to have a look at, some really interesting.
So glad we went.

We never get disappointed with this local museum. Kids love it! Great location as you have a playground and a nice family friendly caffe across the road.
The collection here is very interesting and I’ve been coming here since I’ve moved to Brighton. There are chairs and tables, keep an eye for activities for the little ones. There’s place for buggies. Accessible toilet. It closes for lunch.
