First time here. I really enjoyed the vide on this cold Sunday afternoon in January. A repurposed railway building now small shops/food court. There was live music, a craft brewery, places to rent skates, places to eat, things to look at – it was lively but not super busy; living! The hours were a generous 7am – 10pm, which gave us plenty of opportunity to look around!

I’ve visited The Forks Market a few times for both lunch and dinner, and it’s always been a good experience. The space has a lively, welcoming atmosphere with plenty of food options and places to sit, and it’s easy to enjoy whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or taking your time. The mix of restaurants, shops, and open areas makes it a great spot to return to whenever I’m in Winnipeg.

The Forks has become part of our story — from winter walks to shared meals — and I’m grateful for the memories we’ve made here over the years. Looking forward to the next visit already.

The Forks market is located opposite the Johnston terminal in the Forks historic District. This is an absolutely amazing place to spend the day with family and friends as there is an eclectic mix of restaurants, shops, and other amenities. Every type of cuisine is available here from ice cream, steak, pizza,bakery, fish, and chips and tea. It is very clean and well organized, and the atmosphere is just fantastic. Paid parking is available directly outside. Wonderful place to come and explore the Riverwalk and the market. I highly recommend.
