Amazing experience!!! Mike was phenomenal, he did a fantastic job listening to my ideas and kindly drew up a few different versions of my tattoo before choosing a final design. Incredible finished product!! Very chill and relaxing environment and he was super kind and friendly. 1000% would recommend.

When I tell you this man was the most wonderful, patient, and kind artist — I mean it wholeheartedly. After working all day, he graciously opened his tattoo studio after hours just to accommodate our spontaneous group of nine girls celebrating a bachelorette trip in Charlotte.
Not only did he stay late for us, but he also made the entire experience memorable with his calm demeanor, professionalism, and incredibly personable energy. You can tell this is someone who’s been in the game for 31 years — his skill and confidence are unmatched. Every tattoo was clean, beautiful, and done with care.
If you’re in Charlotte and want a tattoo from a truly talented and thoughtful artist, Uptown Arts Studio is the place to go. Thank you for being part of a night we’ll never forget!

We called the shop very very last minute to have the four of us get matching tattoos… Mike accommodated us and was so sweet and personable. The shop is clean, inviting, and we actually had a fun time with him in there lol Highly recommend
