Beautiful Catholic Cathedral. Open for public. Every day mass for devotees . Around noon. Very nice place to spend time with your prayers. Very beautiful old style Gothic church. Free entrance. Street parking and easily accessible if you're in downtown.

Saint Andrew’s Cathedral is a true gem in the heart of Victoria. From the moment you step inside, the sense of history and reverence is palpable. The Gothic Revival architecture is stunning, with soaring ceilings, intricate stained glass windows, and beautifully crafted woodwork that reflect both craftsmanship and devotion.

The interior feels both grand and welcoming, creating a serene space for reflection, prayer, or simply appreciating the artistry. The cathedral is also well-maintained, and its tranquil ambiance makes it a perfect spot for visitors seeking a quiet moment away from the city bustle.

The location is convenient, close to downtown Victoria, making it easy to combine a visit with exploring the nearby historic streets and shops. The cathedral occasionally hosts concerts and events, which enhance its cultural significance in the community.

Whether you are religious or simply a lover of architecture and history, Saint Andrew’s Cathedral is worth visiting. It’s a peaceful, inspiring place that captures both spiritual and historical essence beautifully.

My previous review from 2019 said never open. Now after walking by here for the past 60 years when visiting I finally got the chance to see the beautiful sanctuary. It's an excellent example of late 1800s Gothic architecture. Stunning brick work and stained glass windows. A beautiful sunny day and the colours inside were beautiful. An understated cathedral but so well worth the visit. Thank you.
