We had an amazing experience at Biriyani Lounge! The biriyani was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked rice, rich flavours, and tender meat. The dragon chicken was a real standout — crispy, spicy, and full of taste. The chicken gravy was just awesome and went perfectly with the biriyani. The food was served hot and fresh, and the portion sizes were generous. Definitely one of the best places for biriyani lovers! Highly recommend!

Lamb biryani is a big no ❌ – was not fresh. My guess is it is not ordered by many hence is not made regularly. I was definitely given a lamb biryani cooked previous day or more. The chef's don't know what an authentic Hyderabadi lamb biryani is.

    Chicken 65 – good, flavourful ✅

Chicken tangdi kebab – 2 of them were good and well cooked. One of them was partially raw and I gave up after this and concluded my dinner.

Onion salad – 5 slices of onion and 2 very hard to squeeze lemons.

    Staff was friendly, polite.
    Decent ambience.

Well, what can I say. Amazing hot and sour soup starters for us all at The Biryani Lounge on Regents Street.

However, absolutely miserable waitress throughout, who then brought our mains out whilst we were still eating our starters.

Biryani was not at all impressive, although their other curries tasted very good.

Then, we had to pay at the counter rather than at the table, with the same miserable waitress still… not even thanking us for the tip or for our custom.

    Unfortunately, I wouldn't go again.
