I arrived after dark so I can't tell you if the grounds are as wonderful as described, but there was still a family or two around the play area.
I was there to see the GSMC awards in the atmopsheric Cellar Bar. Arrived in plenty of time to get some food from the onsite bar and restaurant. A good selection of beers and food selection comparable to a good pub. Cooked from fresh, generous portions and an option to for go the burger pun and replace it with a salad, which I did.
There was a rehearsal going on in the main theatre on the day I was there and the venue seems well used.
Interesting quirk is the way they have left a section of wall in one of the exhibition rooms as it used to be.

I brought my Sound of Magic show here this year and have been twice before. Amazing venue! The whole place has a class vibe and the staff and volunteer ushers are very friendly and helpful. I hope to bring my show back every year 🙂🪄🪄🪄🪄🪄

I've been to a lot of events here..from craft shows, to performances in the cellar and, of course, the summer music and food festival. It's a lovely venue and I like supporting it.
