Definitely worth a visit to all of the sites within the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust group…each site has a very specific and different purpose for the attraction and really does a fantastic job of depicting what life and business and technology would have been like during that era. And whilst it is a museum, it has a more informal and relaxed feel and you can take it at a level that you want… It can either be really informative and you can learn a lot of that is your purpose for visiting, or you can purely look around the exhibitions and attractions and it can be more relaxed if you wanted. There are some indoor and some outdoor attractions to visit, and they have a few play areas for kids too at certain sites. It is worth mentioning that when I say sites, there is a number of museums in and around Ironbridge, each one unique as to what that site used to do… They are only a shirt drive between eachother, maybe 5minutes drive to each maximum. But they would be a fair walk if you weren't driving. But it's worth looking for each of the museums if you are visiting, don't just think that there is one museum there. The staff are interactive too, and make it feel very welcoming

Easy to go to via public transport or taxi.

    Beautiful scenery surrounding it.

Ironbridge is stunning location and the Museum just adds to the appeal. If you haven’t been pay a visit .. we were just returning from an October wedding and had a couple of hours spare. Short visit but very sweet.
