Amarela Resort is a great place to stay, if you want to relax, have fun, and be spoiled . From the room we stayed in, we could see the beautiful beach, and the resort’s swimming pool. Beautiful and lush plants and well maintained gardens are everywhere, giving you a feeling of peace and comfort. The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. The moment you arrive, they give you welcome drinks. The staff are all courteous , friendly and extremely helpful, especially in the restaurant.
Front desk staff can assist with local tours. There is a library, with a wide selection of books, if you feel like reading while sun-bathing or in your bedroom…wherever. They have a museum with interesting pieces if art.
You can tell the owners have excellent taste , as their furniture , especially the chairs are ornate.
My husband I highly recommend Amarela Resort and will certainly let relatives and friends know about this beautiful place.

    Utterly delightful, hand curated resort.

Amarillo is real labour of love. Every inch has been thought through and designed by the owner. Everywhere you look there are hand carved pieces or paintings from local artists. These are beautifully showcased in the gallery – I would strongly recommend visiting it as it gives a wonderful history of Bohol.

We had a seaview room which was spacious, extremely comfortable and immaculately maintained, as is all of the hotel. The views are breathtaking

It's a 10 minute drive from the craziness of Alona Beach, which suited us perfectly. The front desk are very happy to order you a Tuk tuk to take you into town when you want to.

The staff are extremely well trained and charming. And the restaurant food is very good.

The tide doesn't come in until the afternoon, but if you want to swim earlier, walk along the beach a few minutes where you will find a part that is swimmable, if not terribly deep.

A welcome antidote to mass produced resorts.

    Thank you.

We spent 4 nights on Dumaluan/White beach, out of which two at Amarela Resort. This was by far the best stay, and this property is easily the best on this stretch. Service was really good and authentic. Great pool with a beach view, great food, great beach. We did a one day excursion to see the Chocolate hills, the Tarsiers (monkeys) and the Loboc river. Highly recommend this place!
