Beautiful! We passed by at this museum by chance and I am happy we stopped. The building was built on the site of a Spanish Fort ruins. They incorporated the old existing walls into the new structure. The interior is really nice and the courtyard is big, sometimes booked for events. They have guides that can give you a tour inside. I commend the local government of Calapan for giving importance to our heritage.

We paid 50 pesos as entrance fee and the staff / tour guide was so knowledgeable and helpful in answering our questions
