I’ve had a fantastic experience since joining the club. The joining process with Megan was smooth, straightforward, and really well organised — she made me feel welcome from day one and ensured everything was clearly explained. The whole team have been friendly, approachable, and always happy to help.

Since becoming a member, I’ve been using the facilities regularly and genuinely appreciate the great atmosphere and strong sense of community. It’s a very well-run club with excellent amenities, and I’m so pleased I decided to join.

If I could suggest one improvement, it would be extending the opening hours to 11pm, similar to some other clubs, as that would be especially helpful on busier days and for those of us working late shifts. Adding a Padel court would also be a fantastic addition! Overall, I’d highly recommend the club to anyone considering becoming a member.

From the moment I walked into David Lloyd, Abby made an impression that went far beyond what I expected from a sales experience. She immediately showed a level of empathy and understanding towards my child with autism that was genuinely touching — she took the time to listen, adapt, and make us both feel completely at ease. I've now been at DL, Bolton for a year – and it's flown by. I was reluctant to join at first – I had closer gyms, and it's an expensive option. However, I'm really glad I did. The staff have been amazing – right from meeting Abby during my first visit. She was helpful, encouraging, checked in with me to see how things were going, and answered all kinds of questions from me about everything from personal trainers to guest passes and yoga mats!

The facilities are lovely, and the classes are great – but the staff here are fabulous too. Really glad I joined.
