Had a spa day including afternoon tea. Lovely experience with great staff. Accomadated my wheat allergy, no problem. No issues in any of spa areas. Facial and head massage was AMAZING.
The only slight niggle, and it is slight, is that there is only one working effective hairdryer in changing room so be prepared to wait to use it. Not a massive issue at all

We only used the Spa and Pool, which was clearly 5 star, friendly staff, clean and the Saunas are great. Good range from Aromatherapy through to Steam Room, nice outdoor Jacuzzi. Spa staff do their job really well. One lady was giving high praise for their treatments. But every time I go to the bar at this Hotel, i don't feel the need to come back. On the first occasion, we waited 20 minutes for a coffee, and on the second occassion we had £40 left on a £100 voucher (which we had been told we would be allowed to spend the credit at the bar/ restaurant). We went to the restaurant bar and the guy clearly wasnt having this at all, and told us they didnt do that, didnt want us. We were confused but not surprised. I wasn't bothered, after the coffee experience, I didn't fancy the menu anyway. But what is the point in selling £100 Spa Day vouchers and telling customers you can use the credit in the restaurant. I wouldn't bother with the vouchers, just give cash to buy the £30 per person Spa service.
