Wasn’t keen to go, loved every minute of it!

Really well done throughout with beautiful models and drawings. Lots of information about the history of which some made me cross but this is what history is all about.

The staff were very friendly. My husband was using a crutch as recovering from an ankle fracture and was able to take lots of breaks on benches on every floor and we just took our time. A short walk from Union Street bus stop (versus Union Square bus station as there is a steep hill).

Definitely worthwhile a donation at the end of the visit. I would also recommend visiting Siam Cottage Thai Restaurant in the square about 3 minutes walk from the museum. Reasonably priced and very tasty food. They close at 3:00pm for a break before dinner service.

Interesting story presented in a really accessible way. Beautiful building and it's free to enter. The setting is also perfect, overlooking the harbour!

Lovely museum, lovely architecture. The cherry on the cake was the free guided tour tough, offered by knowledgeable and utmost kind Robert who made it special by picking a particular parts and making his lecture around these. Learned a lot and in a very friendly atmosphere, many thanks!!
