We hired Alexander Catering for my daughter's wedding (110 guests) that was on June 4th 2022 in Delray Beach, Fl. Dorina was my coordinator that I worked with for almost a year. She was extremely professional and very responsive to calls and emails. We are from Texas, so I did not know much about caterers in South Florida. I am so glad I did find Alexander Events. I found their prices and selections to be very reasonable. It was a much better value than I anticipated in that area. We had so many changes in our venue and Dorina really just worked through all the details with us. She was always positive and calming throughout such a stressful situation. I don't think she every said no to anything I asked for. She was also very knowledgeable about how the process would work with logistics and what our & our guest's needs would be. Since we were from out of state, I felt like she made a big effort to make herself available when we came in town and I really appreciated that.
Once the day of the wedding came around, Alexander Event was just amazing. My first interaction was with Richard, the bartender. His question when I introduced myself, was what my favorite drink was going to be for the night. I knew I was going to be in good hands. He had a great smile that was present all night long. Both bars were very busy all night. The feedback on the drinks and cocktails was 100% positive. They worked to modify the welcome drinks to our signature drinks and the guests are still talking about that blackberry mojito. All of the Alexander staff were dressed professionally and all seemed very happy to be there. The passed hors d’oeuvres were wonderful. I got so many compliments on them. The shrimp, lamb and brie were all items that people were talking about. Our dinner was plated (duo snapper/chicken). Again, I received so many compliments on the food. It was presented so beautifully and was absolutely delicious. I could not have been more delighted when I tasted my own. I was so worried about the food, but it was really one of the standouts of the evening. We had table wine service and I brought in my own champagne. They did a great job of keeping drinks filled all night. Our cake was provided by Earth and Sugar as part of the package and it was, of course, delicious.
After the wedding, my daughter, the bride, told me how the servers who were taking care of her and my table, specifically Ioana, really made her feel like they were her there for her all night long. They made sure she had what she needed from start to finish. This staff arrived and left smiling. They looked like they had fun themselves just making sure our night was perfect.
All in all, we could not have asked for more from Alexander Events. Dorina was really a joy to work with and the staff’s execution of food, service, professionalism and and attitude was incredible. I could not recommend them more. I wish I had the professional photos already so that I could add them, but for now I have included some of the ones from guests. Thank you Dorina and staff!
