This is a superb mid size live music venue maybe 350seats or so. The access is both wide and level for wheelchair users and the all volunteer staff are well versed in helping disabled customers. One drawback is that the wheelchair spaces are limited and very close to the stage wings (giving loud but only a part of the sound spectrum) Best sound is towards the back of the tiered stalls or the balcony.
This is a strictly No Cash venue especially at the bar. The management book some very high quality tribute acts for ‘stadium’bands and gives low price access to great quality live music.
Car parking (with poorly marked disabled bays) is nearby but congested at the end of performances.

Great local theatre. Good tiered seating and not too big so you don't feel "lost" in the audience. Great viewing of the stage. Needs more seating down stairs by the bar area though.

Excellent entertainment venue. The ticket kiosk and bar area share the reception, with some relaxed seating dotted around This is a community venue so the Auditorium is not huge and a little cramped but there are good views of the stage from all areas with no restrictions. Staff and volunteers are on hand to assist you and are all very helpful. There is a large carpark area. Just note that the carpark has ANPR from early morning until 18:00. However visitors to the Artrix can gain free parking by adding their vehicle registration into a computer tablet just inside the reception area.
