Amazing library with a HUGE selection of books! The books are arranged by genre so it's easy to find what you need or to browse. There's lots of space so it doesn't feel crowded and there's plenty of seating too! The staff are so helpful and lovely. It's a very warm and inviting space in the centre of town – we're very lucky to have it

DISCOVERY CENTER where you DISCOVER THE WORLD.
Just like any another city council, Basingstoke and Dean's Discovery Center is located in Festival Place, which is one of the happening here. You come here for health, food, coffee, shopping and ultimate place the DISCOVERY CENTER. It provides different services like library, public internet, child corner. The library has a nice collection of all kinds of books to cater the needs of all people and ages. This year Basingstoke and the Discovery Center is celebrating Jane Austin's bicentennial so the library has a small corner to celebrate her life. They do have a small, cafe and gift shop too! They also have baby clinic and offer loads of seasonal activities for people of all ages…..
It's good place to spend your a Day in silence.

Books are our friends bcoz they make me relaxing ,peaceful and mind freshing.
Books help me get knowledge and the library has many games to play with which make it even interesting here……
