Such magical place. Enjoy the steep uphill walk to the castle to be rewarded by the lovely view and drinks or food at the cafe.. beautiful gardens with different routes lengths and difficulty..
Plenty of car parks. Could be very busy though on holidays and weekends.

My brother and sister in law took my husband and myself for a dinner in the castle and not only was the castle looking stunning with beautiful Christmas decorations but the meal was fabulous. It’s a long time from we have had such lovely food. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The whole night was a joy. We can’t wait to return xx

I loved it. Such an incredible castle and it's free to enter. 100% worth visiting if you are there. The drive there is incredible, the driver was happy to go there because it's such a beautiful place
