Very beautiful place to take a walk, jog, bike ride, have a cookout, enjoy wildlife, get on a boat, or just relax in general. The museum and garden are very beautiful and interesting. Unfortunately the aquarium was closed when I went but I'll be going back. You should definitely take some time from your busy schedule and enjoy life and nature here. I'm pretty sure you won't regret it.

Belle Isle is a beautiful Michigan State Park located on the waterfront of the Detroit River. Since the state took it over the improvements are amazing. Be sure to visit the Belle Isle Aquarium and the Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory. If you haven't been there in the last few years, it's a beautiful day trip. You need a Michigan State Park pass for entry.
